Effective cross-cultural communication is essential in an increasingly globalised world. Cultural differences can lead to miscommunication, missed deadlines, work having to be redone, low team morale and a tense working environment. In the workplace this can occur daily, where people from different cultures interact and are expected to perform and make decisions. Training in cross-cultural communication helps to develop awareness between people working in culturally diverse environments in order to promote clear lines of communication, better relationships and greater efficiency and effectiveness.

This introductory course is designed for staff who have daily interaction with colleagues or clients from diverse cultures – providing them with an understanding of different ‘ways of doing things’ and equipping them with the cultural tools they will need for effective cross-cultural communication with colleagues and clients of diverse cultural origin and facilitate their adaptation and integration into the workplace.

Learn how to avoid and repair costly misunderstandings and conflicts in intercultural working and service delivery
Acquire practical tips and tools to help interact positively and sensitively with colleagues from diverse cultures

Price and Format
This is a 3.5 hour session. Due to its participatory nature of this session runs best with 8 – 24 delegates. Each course participant receives their own training notes.

Morning session: 9.30am – 1.00pm
Afternoon session: 1.30pm – 5.00pm

The price for in-house training at your choice of venue is just £495 per day.
